saw my first one in person today.  black one.  northbound 405 in huntington beach, going really slow.  very wide and very long car.

Top Gear - just saw the episode where Hammond test drives the 918 at Yas Marina circuit and compares it to Clarkson's day at Spa in a P1.  Conclusion - stay tuned for a dual between the two of them in June or July on the Top Gear circuit.  Should be a good one!

And now comes Koenigsegg's Regera , tne company's new hybrid model,to be unveiled at the upcoming Geneva auto show.

A mild mannered 1,350 HP, 440 km/hr top speed and a tested 0-300 km/hr time under 15 sec. Oh, it's a " regular " street car, so any little old lady from Pasadena can buy it..if it was federalized,that is. Until then, any little old lady from any place in the ROW can buy it :-). Maybe this will bring down the price on the sluggish 918 ?

Man, was I way off on this one...it was indeed just revealed at the Geneva auto show, but it's not just a puny 1350 hp car, it has 1782 HP !!!! Holy cow.
