Spare tire compressor
#1

My spare tire compressor looks great but doesn't work. Can these things be repaired? Thanks

Could be as simple as a fuse. There should be one in the 12volt plug itself. If that's not it you can always crack it open and look for obvious issues like loose wires or solder joints.

...and, of course, one way to keep it looking great is to not (be able to) use it. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

I have one that has broken tabs that works great if you can swap innards. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

If anyone comes out with a case without broken tabs, I would buy it. Or does such a thing even exist?

Good ones are on eBay all the time, selling anywhere from $75-$175.

Arash,

Clean them up really nice, take good pictures, and list them @ $125 BIN + $15 for shipping.

You should be able to get that on ebay no problem.

I have sold 6 of these over the last year.
