From the 5th floor of my building in Pasadena, it felt a LOT stronger than 5.8. The building was shaking and swaying. I was staring out the window at our parking structure as the whole thing was also hopping around. My house 10 miles from where it hit is just fine.

I missed it. We were in my Syncro on a road only for 4wd not meant for people who look down only if there is a guardrail. We had our own earthquake ride going on when it hit. Glad everyone is OK.

I was vacationing in southern California for the Northridge earthquake in 94, then went to a North Carolina beach house the next year, only to leave early to avoid a hurricane.



Now no one will go on vacation with me. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/sad.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
