Snowing up North?
#1

Well, it's not down here in the South, so I went to the track on Friday. I hooked up with 8 other drivers and we rented Little Talladega for a day and had a blast. The weatherman said it was going to rain but fortunately it held off and we ended up with a fantastic day. Here's a quick vid.

Yes, I know it's not a 968, but it does have a 968 engine tucked inside <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Great video, Lemming! I think you're conversion is a fascinating project, and the car looks like it's a lot of fun. I bet it really blows people out if they're expecting 924 performance!

I get quite a few people coming over to look at the car after I pass them, especially if I pull them on a long straight. On that day there was a guy in a turbo 325 who was claiming 300HP to the rear wheels. After the morning run he was saying that I was catching him in the corners but not on the straights. So, in the afternoon I had to show him that he cound not pull me on the straights, we were dead even. I doubt very much he has 300rwHP, since I know I'm only 200rwHP (but 600lbs lighter!).

Nice job Tim...I like your choice of music too. Little Talladega looks like a fun track. Thanks for sharing.

It must be fun to to run one direction part of the day and then turn around and run the opposite direction. You don't see that at every track! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Saves on tire rotation as well <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/cool.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

They have a skid pad that I love to play on but unfortunately the ground around the pad was saturated from a few days rain making it's use too dangerous.
