I brought the P'car to work today as it was supposed to be 50+ and sunny.

Looking out the window now, it's *snowing*. [Image: mad.gif]

I know the feeling, I think I have put the ice scraper away 4 times now and we are still getting frost in the morning.

That's true - almost. The thing that sucks about Upstate NY is that it's freezing @#!$ cold all winter, then there's two weeks of really, really rough sledding (horizontal biting winds with a mix of snow, sleet, and rain as now) and then it goes directly to 80+ and horribly humid, stickiness. That's forecast for Tuesday already.

There's no "spring" to speak of, or "in between", or "moderate/temperate period". It goes straight from suck to suck, just like Coors Light going from cold to warm.

Could be worse. Here in northern VT we had the worst mud season in about 5 years. Had to skip the first DE earlier this month cause couldn't get out. Road firming up but not graded yet. Plan is to put the car on the road tomorrow, but means dodging pot holes for a mile.

I hear your pain! A few days ago we had some snow here on the ground too! It's almost May!

The tulips and daffodils were "perplexed"! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/mellow.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Snow fell on April 1, during lunch time for the 6th graders at my school. It was too good to be true! Telling them that there would be an "Early Dismissal" due to the unexpected snow will go down as one of the best April Fools gags ever, that truly snagged about 450 kids. It was priceless....
