968 Coupe Rear Wiper Arm (944-968-032-00) needed please!
#1

Mine is stripped and the splines are no longer there. I have a brand new motor with no joy.  I know now that it's a discontinued part. If someone did the rear wiper delete, hook me up! Can't find one anywhere.

Thanks!

Adam

The rear wiper delete were the first , immediate mods on both my 968s . The rear wiper is an eyesore which does not belong on a beautiful car such as ours. I believe I gave one of the entire assemblies to a local 968 buddy many many moons ago, and I can't remember what I might have done with the second one , but it's nowhere to be found so it's possible I just threw it in the trash. You see, back here in Kalifornia we have no use for those things since they're made for this phenomenon you guys call " rain " , or " snow ", ..whatever those things are... so unless it's a device that helps with fires or earthquakes , we can't relate to it on our cars.

you need one to sweep the ash off the rear screen.

to the original poster, i have packed them out with some soft ali from a coke can in the past, the shoulder inside stops you winding it down far enough to cut new splines in the wiper arm

My memory is mush at this point ; I don't remember a single item I might have searched for that you sent me, whether it was the right one or a wrong one ..it must have been a long, long ,time ago .. Heck, i don't even remember things that happened weeks ago, much less years ago .. I do know however, it was not ( could not have been ) a wiper arm, I have never had any use for those , but what else I wonder ..?

How about the motor. I completely misunderstood what you needed at the time. You can't remember too. OMG I thought I was the only one!

That's possible ( motor ) - it would have to be for the second car which I drove in all weather conditions so could be that the original motor was shot and I looked for a replacement . I ultimately deleted that one also, but maybe for the first year or two I used it ..

You guys are cracking my up, Waylander, thanks for the Ebay link! Rap I sent you a message as well. The previous owner did the delete. It was a trashy job and one of the washers was rusting believe it or not. Decided to take it back to original. Call me weird but, I like the look, it says classic GT to me. Right now it's all for show bc it doesn't freaking work. I really appreciate the help. Let me know if you find something Rap and I'll look into buying the one in England. Changed my profile, we moved to Hawaii. US Navy all day.

Thanks dude. I tried a bushing, but it just slides around. The splines are the key I guess. I don't want to epoxy it, the guy from a metalworks shop in Honolulu told me I was effed and to epoxy it. Real nice guy, so much for the aloha spirit. I wanted to punch him in the mouth. Smile
