Turn signal gasket/clip broken by detailer
#1

Hey guys,

I took my car in for a detailing before putting it away for winter, and now as I visit the car for spring prep, I see that when buffing the car the detailer pushed into the driver's side turn signal on the fender and now it's just hanging out (see attached).

What do I do to repair this?  Is it a matter of some bond/glue on the back side of the washer, or do I need to order a replacement washer with adhesive, or something else?  Maybe there's a plastic clip that's supposed to hold it in and that's broken?

Thanks in advance.

/Dave

Buy a new one , if the part that holds it into its place is broken , they are not that expensive , since they are the same as for the 944 .

There is no glue or anything used , just a plastic piece what clicks behind the sheet metal and holds it .

yepp, due to age the small clip that holds the thing in place will brake easily.

They are inexpensive indeed, and also a lot of aftermarket for sale in different colors.
