Silicone hoses
#1

I'm getting ready to replace the hoses when I change coolant. Where can I get red colored silicone hoses? Lindsay Racing has them for the 944 but I don't see anything for the 968. Any one know a vendor?

There is a particular "928" vendor that sells red silicon hoses. Not sure about posting the link here but I have given you a good clue.

I don't think he has the sizes needed for coolant. I have used a set of those from that vendor for a friend’s 928 for the vacuum lines, and it didn't exactly cover all the hoses like it was suppose to. I found another place that has a full silicone hose sets for vacuum and small coolant lines and what not for 928's and 944's and 68's etc etc, it even came with diagrams and silicone lube and even a cigar cutter for cutting the hoses. I used that set that was supposed to be just enough for the 928, on the 928, and a full vacuum replacement on a 911, and on my 968, and I still have a ton left over. But I'm going off topic. I think Lindesy is the one that has the coolant hose sized silicone ones. But for me personally, I would stick with the stock hoses for those big ones, but I'm not a bling person.

i'm not a big fan of silicone hoses that have fluid in them - they tend to leak
