Check engine light on this AM; she felt like she was idlying a little rough... Drove about a mile, realized she "just wasn't quite right." Can't put a finger on it, but acceleration seems 'off' (instead of a sharp knife through warm butter, more like . . . a dull knife through peanut butter), and idle's a little rough.

Dropped her off at Beverly Hills Porsche to pull diagnostic code(s) and to do (at least) a coolant flush and an oil change (it's been about a year, though only about 5,000 miles, since her last oil change).

My guesstimate - O2 sensor(s), since she's at 91,825 and has never had them replaced. Thoughts?

Well- before I dropped a car off at any thieving Porsche dealership I'd at least check the fault codes on my own. This procedure is documented here.

I did that (pulled over on Colgate, shut her off, and ran through that process; I have a copy on my Palm Pilot). It didn't tell me anything; flashed once.

OTOH, I trust BHP, I took it in once fearing the worst and asked them to do a electrical system diagnostic. They gave it back to me with a new Interstate and charged me about $25 more than the Firestone place down the street did to toss the same battery into my Jeep. <shrug>

They've been "all right by me" to date.
