Road trip (The Netherlands,Belgium, France and Spain)
#1

Hi,

I just came back from a trip which led me trough 4 different country`s. The final destination was Spain, were I visited Barcelona, Alicante, Sevilla and Madrid. The 968 behaved perfectly...enough space for two people and even a golfbag (playing in golf in Sevilla was nice..) In total I drove about 5300 KM....in twelve days, it normally takes me 6 months the reach this kind om KM`s. You might remember I "swopped"my transmission just before this trip, I am pleased to let you know that the "new" transmission behaved perfectly Furthermore the engine only used a half litre of motor oil....not bad! So the 968 might be 15 years old, today is still makes a great travel car!

Cheers,

Rutger

How did you like the Mediterranean highway between Barcelona and Alicante?

Well, the Mediterranean highway between Barcelona and Alicante was nice. I also liked the road (a320??)which runs from approx. Salou to Barcelona, lots of hairpins and the coast on your righthand On the other hand....the highway between Sevilla and Madrid was a bit dull.....

Cheers,

Rutger
