I just got the bits to R&R the power steering system, except for the rack.



I noticed that the fluid tank cover now has a vent opening. My old one does not.

What is the deal? Is the cap supposed to be sealed or vented? Is the vented cap an improvement made by Porsche or did I get a tank/cap combo that is not for a 968???

Your old one may have it, just plugged up with stuff. My old one did, I liked the look of my old cap better and the dipstick on the old one, so I used the old one with the new tank.
