Selling my 1992 968 Cab
#1

I have had this one for nearly a year and I have decided to sell it. As much as I want to be a guy who likes to work on and maintain an older sports car, I'm not. I like them to be in great shape and consequently I end up paying someone to do what I hoped I would be able to do. More power to you all who can, and are willing to do what it takes. Both my wife and I like the new stuff. You can search posts under my name to see the history. I am asking $19k, which may seem high, but when you consider what the next owner will not have to do, the price is ok. I am open to other offers. Mileage is 95k. I have the title.

You can view earlier posts to see the complete re-paint I had done last year. The original color was Black, it is now Basalt Black, Black Interior all original and Black Top. Seat covers shown in picture can go with the car, they are not hiding anything, just warmer in the winter. Exterior is obviously an 11 out of 10, interior is probably a 10 out of 10, mechanically it is 8-9 out of 10. If interested, it is located in Annapolis MD, in my garage. I can be reached at 410-808-4389 and my real name is George.

You can search Rennlist in the 928/996/997 forum to find other posts and see how well I take care of my cars. Or ytou can call Tri Tec [my mechanic for all our cars] in Annapolis and ask for Dave if you need another reference. I have no problem if you want to have a PPI.

Good luck with the sale, you want to put that cruise control cable under the vanity cover, it can rub and leave a mark...ask me how I know! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

You may have good luck with this in Canada - our dollar is now real good and these cars are very attractive at USD prices.

OK nobody in here "kill me". I've had all the Porsche's and I still have a Cayenne so I am not going totally over to the other side, just looking to try a traditional American muscle car. I really want an 05 or newer Mustang V8 convertible. If someone wants to work out some kind of a trade I would be open minded.

Has your dog ever been in the car? <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Several times. He is not as comfortable since the space on the floor in front of the passenger seat is so small. I tie his leash to the grocery brace, just in case. Only place he has ever gone is downtown Annapolis [about 4 miles] were we walk on a regular basis.
