it is in the "wheels" section where it belongs - it is about wheels after all - it does not belong in handling and suspension - i am working on a tech sheet that will list the specs of all sorts of wheels - as soon as it is done, it will be pinned at the top of that section

Dude, what are you talking about, it is in the 'shopaholics' section...this should be in a 'wheels' spec section...not a pretty boy here my money section.

and if you think that pretty wheel section should exist, fine. Then create another section for wheel specs in 'suspension' section

it's in the "wheels" section of the shopaholics section - look at the breadcrumb trail - i understand what you are getting at, but there does not need to be an entire section for wheel specs - when i am done, it will be a single chart, pinned to the top of the wheels section

there is also a tire section right there

now perhaps both of those should move, but there definitely does not need to be two wheel sections

No need for two wheel sections, but wheels are definately an imortant part of the 'handling/suspension ' package. Just makes it easier to see what other people have done with their wheel tire size weight combos rather than look all the way back in a shopping section. Seems obvious.

i understand your point, and went back and forth on this myself

most of the guys here buy wheels because they "look cool", and not because they help handling - if they did, we would never see a set of twists, or anything over 25lbs being talked about - but, guys run them anyway - like you, i am more "function over form", but we are in the minority - specs are a very small part in the process for most people - they generally just want to know if they "fit", and want them for the look

that's why i stuck it where i did - i have no issue moving it, and i'll defer to the masses as to whether to put it in suspension/handling or not, but it isn't technically suspension, and not traditionally a component upgraded for handling (like swaybars, bushings, springs, shocks, etc)

makes no difference to me, but i'll take some time and ask around - whatever the majority feels is best is fine with me

Cool with me. I would just like to read about the track guy's tire experience, camber wear patterns, wheel failure, wheel weights and specs in the handling section. AND I AGREE completely with you that general pics of 'pretty wheels' go somewhere else..like shopping/styling salon section.
