There I was riding to the airport for our transcon back to Newark and I see a familiar shape off to the left.  It was a very clean looking silver (looked to be Polar Silver) 968 with turbo twists on it (993 turbo style).

 

Anyone here?

 

I must say the folks in Vancouver must be well employed because I saw a lot of really nice rides and homes there.  It is a beautiful place.

If you mean Vancouver, BC (there is also a Vancouver, WA), then I do not know "who" owns that unit.

I think it is the same 968 that was for sale when I was looking, and it has changed hands again since then (listed on Craigslist both times).

That is partially true. It is mostly driven by a huge influx of off-shore money (China primarily), which has driven housing prices "through the roof", which in turn makes it near impossible for the younger generation to afford housing someday!

I was on the BC side.  We stayed at the Marriott down by the water.  Great view of the sea planes coming and going.

 

The housing spike in desirable areas isn't just in Vancouver...  I've been looking in the Boulder CO area to settle and can't even afford the apartments I used to live in...  It's nuts there.

 

Yes, I saw a lot of Asian influence in the area.  Business there is booming.

 

Too bad I won't have anything else this month in the area.  I've got a Seattle layover, but not enough time to get to the show.
