This is my first post ,so, hello to all on the Forum.



I have just recieved a pair of secondhand dampers to replace mine, while I carry out a Koni conversion on them as they are shot. I have just checked the part numbers on the replacements and they are 944 343 031 19 (L) and 944 343 032 19 ®. PET tells me that >90 944 S2 and 968 should be 951 343 031 12 (L) and 951 343 032 12 ®. Is this going to cause a problem with my springs which are 324mm 28N/mm? The guy told me they were off a S2 and that they were the same. This is a reputable company here in the UK so I took him at his word.

S2 and 968 struts are interchangeable. See http://www.944s2.com/suspension/suspension.htm for more info.



I sugest performing the Koni conversion on the S2 struts and then intalling them -- it'll save you an install step...
