I stumbled upon a 1992 black 968 coupe for sale in South Jersey. Overall condition of the car was good. The interior showing some wear. High mileage WPOAA2966NS820387 asking $7500.00 The car was a 5 speed stick. Was this a replacement or could this car have come with a 5 speed ?

These cars never came with a 5 speed. The car most likely had the pinion bearing failure and they dropped the 944 box in there.
