Wow, that certainly is a rare color.

Is that the same color from the specialist (James Wood's 968)? Or was that purple...

Does anyone know what would cause the lower part of the front bumper conver to sag like that? This is an attractive car with low miles at a low cost.

Yes, it's the plastic mesh that's broken. Mine was like that when I bought it...just ordered new mesh from Sunset today! Mine has gotten worse and is held together with black wire ties in various places. Looks like the car is smiling all the time.

ya know, this red isn't really doing it for me. Sorry but IMHO it looks a bit too Mary Kay.

That said a 928 GTS is a helluva car. . . didn't they only come in 5-speed though?

wait. . . I think I'm on the wrong forum. . . <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/rolleyes.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

I like the red but after almost losing my lic driving a red Charger I would never buy another red car (never had a problem with other colors even driving them in the same spirited way)

BTW, my toy box is also full, next one will force wife outside and she stated that's not happening

For your information, doug foster (doster on this site) makes a beautiful stainless steel mesh replacement for the upper and lower grill sections that will not break like the plastic does. I am extremely happy with mine and "ol blue" never looked better. Bob Blackwell.

We have almost 200 members on the PCA 968 Register (www.968register.org) and no one has this color car. Who ever buys it, please give me a ring after, we would love to add this color to the list

P.S. We do have other rare colors; Amethyst Met., Riviera Blue, Amaranth Violet, Cobalt Blue Met., Coral Red Met., Oak Green Met., Raspberry Red Met., Violet Blue Met. and Wimbledon Green Met. but not this color.

OK, Jeff did you buy this car? Looking at the previous Mopar purchases by the buyer it could be you. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

It is a cool car and I did like the color and yes, knowing I like the loudest colors (as per my mopars) makes me a suspect but I did not buy it. He had no paperwork on the car. It was an interesting car not only for the color but for the VIN, it was the 6th 1994 cab built for the US. Early cars often have an interesting story behind them.

Mark,

I still have a thing for beautiful 944S2s since I had a Coupe at one time.
