Back in 2008 I posted a question re the feasibility of developing a timing chain for our cars, but right after flash's reply indicating that it's theoretically possible although designing a lubrication system might be a challenge, the rest of the posts just talked about belt changes intervals and the thread died...
Since that's an area of the forum where starting new topics is not possible ( " nuts and bolts " ) I thought I'd start it here and maybe the admin can move it elsewhere more suitable . So...Flash : what sayeth you to the possibility of a D1R project along those lines ? I'm thinking the demand for it would be overwhelming so perhaps many of us would also be willing contribute to the R&D costs .
