Euro Trun signals, again
#1

I know others have ordered these fom Sunset. I was ordering them today and Jeff asked if I wanted the whole assy or just the lenses. He is not sure if you have to mod something if you order just the lenses. I'm all for modding the housings if need be given the price difference.

Jeff's email:

I show that long slim turn signal sold 2 ways. The whole ROW assembly 95163141100 and 95163141200 is 131.46 each side and a month from Germany.

Or the lenses only 95163116100 95163116200 which are 20.98 and 18.57 each, month away also. Question is, are the housings between ROW and US the same also. Many times they aren't due to single or dual element bulb sockets but I could be wrong here.

What to do?

Dave-

Check the PET, usually you can search ROW vs. NA and perhaps the pictures for the assemblies will show any differences?

as i remember, i didn't have to mod anything - unplug bulbs from OEM lens, plug into new lens - install - done

Turns out, I think, that Jeff is confused. Because I am ordering a 944 S2 harmonic balancer he also assumed that the Euro lenses were for a 944 and not a 968.

Dave-

I completely confused things and thought you were asking about euro side markers, not the turn signals. Sorry for my jibberish.

All is good, proper Euro lenses on the way. Price is up as of Jan to 60.00 from 52.00 due to P increase. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/sad.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

We can put this topic to sleep.
