I will be returning to the Nordschleife for a couple of days of lapping (had such a great time last year, I just had to repeat). Any of my fellow 968ers on that side of the pond want to join in? I'll probably rent a track-prepped car from one of the local outfits again. Wish I could bring one of our Porsches!
PM me if interested!

I love my 968 for what it is & don't hate it for what it isn't!

We will be there for lapping on the evening of September 4th (Saturday), and during the day on Sunday the 5th. This will be in the midst of a tour my wife and I are doing of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and France (driving of course!). It would really be fun to meet up with 968 friends there. If those dates might work for anyone, please PM me and we'll coordinate from there!

Jorg - it was great meeting up with you and the other 968ers at Nurburg. I even got some video of you on track (posted
here). Our two days of lapping there went great. After over 400km (only 20 laps) of driving on the Nordschleife, I can say I continue to improve, but that's a track that takes some time to really master. I got the little Suzuki down into the low 9:00 range (the car was so light and so well set up), which was fun. There are still some corners which I know I'm giving back time on (hard to memorize all 70+ of them, but I can now recognize most of them). It's truly the world's greatest track, and you're incredibly lucky to live nearby and have a suitable car to enjoy it with. To all who haven't experienced it, put it on your bucket list.

I'd love to see what would be possible in a Stage 3 car, or something with more hp. I saw a Radical and some Sevens lapping out there that would sure be a blast! Then again, maybe I'd kill myself.
