Rear window on my 968 cab cracked last night. I am looking for a referral in NJ, perhaps some one who replaces these things on the side to avoid parting with the big $$$. The car is for sale and I do not want to sink a lot of cash into it. Located in Monmouth County NJ.

There has been a lot of chat about the rear window replacement in cabs...



The bad news is that the best solution is to replace the top, it would cost almost as much to replace just the window unit.

Between brand new top material/window and installation, I paid about $900 a year ago. I got a pretty good deal on installation though. Some also say it's real easy to do yourself. To me it would seem like a lot of work.
