yesterday, en route to spend the day playing golf and doing the "father's day thing" with ayn's dad, i saw 2 968s



the first one was the red club sport that was at the long beach show (still running foreign plates) - it was the first day the car had been out of the garage since february



the next one really took me by surprise - back story - there is a new member who i anticipate is going to be bringing his car over here today - we were southbound on the 405 and came across an adventurine green hardtop - since he and i had talked about doing his airbox today, i figured maybe he was en route to dave's house to pick up the parts - the guy was chatting away on his cell phone, so it took a while to flag him down - we were in the denali, so i'm sure he thought we were nuts - finally, after a hair raising effort, crossing 4 lanes and nearly killing us, we pulled over to the side of the road



it wasn't him!! it was another adventurine green hardtop entirely



gave the guy a forums card - hope to hear from him and see both of them at future events



thus ended my good luck for the day though - shot a really bad game - but, the beer was cold!



all in all, pretty cool

didn't get the chance to really talk to him - sitting on the side of the freeway really freaks ayn out - hopefully he'll be online and we can see him sometime



in the meantime, one is on its way here this afternoon - come on down - beer is cold - ether joe is joining us too
