Quick pic of my 968
#1

Many of you know me from Rennlist. I am the moderator for the 924/931/944/951/968 boards.

I just gave up my 951 and ended up buying a 968. (Which is going to be a serious project car!)

It is a 1994 coupe, 6spd w/LSD, 10 speaker plus 6 disc changer, etc.

Here is a quick picture that my friend snapped last night. Everyone loves pictures, right?

It looks like one of the posts that Chris Luckette posted in the BUYER'S GUIDE (968 Color Codes, With examples...)

Post #18):

Slate gray metallic 22D

Slate grey metallic 23F*

It reminds me of a Mercedes color...Anthracite Grey.

Very rich looking.

Actually, it is Aventurine Green metallic pearl. It is tough to capture just right on the camera. Here are a few other pics that show the color a bit better.

Wow, who would have guessed green?

Looks nice.

Why don't you post it as an example of the color in the color codes with examples section?

Thanks for the compliments.

I suppose I should post up a pic in the color thread. Let me dig up the paint number from the window sticker and try to get a picture that shows the color better.

Welcome to the Adventurine Green Metallic Club. Mine is a 95 coupe. It really does shine and "glitter" with a Rejex shine. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Welcome! Looks to be in great shape...what kind of plans do you have for her?

I also had no idea what color that is...strange that you can't pick up any green in that pic

The colour code is: L39S

I also have a 94 in this colour. One of the reasons I like it is b/c it's uncommon. And, it looks either blue-ish green or deep green depending on the lighting.

Best of luck with your new wheels... <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/cool.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
