Clean your K&N filters - rhudeboye - 03-08-2009

While washing the 68 today I popped the hood and gave the engine a wipe down. While under there I removed and cleaned the air filter using the K&N cleaner, let it soak for 10 -12 min then rinsed and let it dry. Now my car isn't a daily driver so by appearance the filter looked pretty clean, hardly anything inbetween the folds. However after putting it back in and taking it for a spin, it both sounded different and had more power. I also used the K&N oil on the filter before reinstalling it.

Not rocket science but thought I'd post my experience anyway for those that havent cleaned theres in a while. Go ahead and take care of it next chance you get, takes all of 20 minutes and is well worth it.
