Fall begets leaves, and I'm usually good about cleaning out the wells that collect water and debris from the crack between the hood and the windshield.
Usually.
We've had a crap-ton of rain, and I was out of town on business for 10 days during most of that rain... and now my passenger side floorboard is drenched.
So, clean out your leaves, guys and gals!
Now, to find someone with a Wet-Dry Vac...

Also this is a good time of year to remove all debris from the cowl area, clean all body drains to prevent moisture build up (cowl, doors, sunroof, etc.)

I have a rainwater issue on the driver's side that I've never solved. When driving in reasonable to heavy rain, water will start dripping on my left foot, in the area of the foot rest. It must be coming in from someplace around the fuse box, but despite many searches, I've not found it. Most annoying.

For me it has always been the double sided tape that glues on the black plastic shroud at the bottom of the windshield; it tends to let go or warp. Both my 944 (not the S2) and 968 leaked in the footwell and sealing that joint fixed the problem.
