Other than the Avanti, great cars. Love the Lincoln, I have always wanted one. Black/black of course.
Nice 2002.
And I have always loved the Cortina.

I didn't know the Cortina was sold in the US. Did you guys also get the Lotus Cortina?

We did indeed get the Lotus Cortina. A friend of mine owned one and that car was fun drive and deceptively fast. we took down our share of large American V-8s. They were also extensively raced here. I have photograph of Graham Hill driving a Cortina at Laguna Seca in 1964. Coming through turn 7 he has the inside front wheel of the track.
There have been at least two that have turned up for sale on Bringatrailer.com.
In fact, for those of you who don't know about it. If you sign up for Bring A Trailer's daily email you get an email every day with one or more interesting cars that are current for sale. It is as addictive as crack cocaine. First email I open every day.

Need to get to coffee and cars again also, just a great place to see remarkable examples, great time of day also.

Thanks for bringing me :-). Great little event. Better than most commercial car shows... at least in a little country up North. See you in the afternoon!

torbjorn popped by the house yesterday - while he was here he had the distinct pleasure of experiencing his first california earthquake - it was a nice little 6.9 very long rolling one - it went so long we had time to discuss it, and decide whether or not to move outside, as we were watching the cars in the culdesac dance around and could actually see the buildings sway
who says i don't pull out all the stops when guests arrive? i'll move the earth to make their experience complete

Hey, you only had a 3.3 for me last year...I guess the further one travels the more of a show you put on...
Seriously, glad that we are able to kid about it, that is a major quakes but seems to have caused very little damage (at least being reported on the TV)

That looks like my old Lincoln ! I had a 65 Hard Top. Loved that car. Wished I kept that car to restore. Great pics. Lots of interesting stuff. Hope all is well there. Never experienced an earthquake
