I am planning to buy a 968 in the near future.
But I am curious what is the cost differnce on a set of brake pads on a standard 968 and on the BIG BLACKS?
And what would the cost differnce be for a set of rotors for a standard 1993 coupe or a 1995 MO30 with big blacks be?
Are the rotors on a 1995 Mo30 cross drilled?

Big Blacks are not the same as M030.
M030 are the same as on 928 S4 (and some others).
In general, at least in Europe, pads for Big Blacks (or Big Reds which are the same) are less expensive than the slightly smaller pad for the M030 if your shopping for race pads. For normal pads it is my guess that they are priced virtually the same.
Rotors where drilled but you can get whatever you want so non drilled does not automatically mean non M030.
The best way to spot a M030 brake setup is to compare the front and rear caliper. For a non M030 car they are the same in size. For the M030 car the front calipers are slightly bigger. The non M030 car has 298x28 mm rotors all around where the M030 has 304x32 up front.
If you have/get a M030 car that is in need of new rotors I suggest you go for the 322x32 rotors that are most likely cheaper than the 302x32. The calipers are easily spaced outwards the extra 9 mm.

I believe the factory M030 drilled rotors are big $$ relative to aftermarket - maybe $300 each. My recollection is that the M030 uses drilled rotors from the factory front and rear.
