I sold my red/beige '95 cab, WP0CA2962SS840303, option code 718, in 2005 to a good guy, a Rhode Island doctor, who I felt would take good care of the car.  I was just wondering if the current owner is on here and what's happened to the car since then.  Apologies to the admins if this is the wrong place for the post.  I wasn't sure where else it might be appropriate.

No, just curious.  Some years ago, I Googled the VIN on an old BMW 5-series that I owned and had traded in toward an SUV.  Turns out the car was displayed on a Bimmer forum, had been ultra-pampered and cherished by the next owner, and had reached over 200K miles.  I reached out to him to send him some paperwork that I still had in my files so his records would be more complete.  Nice story.  I'd like to see something similar for the 968.

Only other way (unless current owner pops up here) is to play detective and follow the ownership list from the guy you sold it to.
