Am about to install a vac/boost gauge. Where is the best place to plumb a manual gauge into?

Where are you planning to mount the gauge inside the car? The reason I'm asking is that I'd like to place a gauge panel in the center console, under the radio. Thanks.

tap the vacuum line at the same place as the fuel pressure regulator

Thanks Flash. That's close and handy.
Cloud 9, I'm putting in where the cubby is. Actually, Flash (Eer, Design 1 Racing) sells a nice 3 hole plate for there. Not sure if I'm going 3 gauge or just boost. Had an extra cubby with bad clock and removed the clock, rounded the hole, and installed there for now. Needs a little cleaning up and will post a pic (if I can figure out how). Found this dorkey gauge at the right price for now:

This is where I put mine, it's a perfect friction fit.

since you have to tap that spot as a part of the installation anyway, all you will need is another tee (which you can get at any auto parts store), and a very short piece of hose (which you can cut from the end of the hose included in the kit)
i ran copper line into the cabin so as to avoid the heat melting the plastic line i was using - i ran it through a grommet in the firewall - then i put hose on each end

I have a set of monochrome digital gauges in my F-250 Diesel, and was saving up for their latest color digital set, ala this one below. How cool would it be though if someone finally integrated the double DIN radio, DVD, bluetooth, GPS, backup camera and gauges! In aviation we call it the "glass cockpit". Requires OBD II though

, and I think we have OBD I?
