I got this web site from either Pelican parts or Sunset. It is the original web site for looking up Porsche parts with diagrams and part numbers.
It is as follows
www.porsche.com/all/media/pdf/originalparts/usa/968_USA_KATALOG.PDF
I hope it works for all of you. William Moss 1995 968 Tigard Oregon
I posted it here as I could not post it in the other areas such as parts etc.

William,
Thanks for posting this, but when I pasted the site into my browser, it gave me a message saying "File not found." It sounds like it would be a very useful resource, though, so please give it another shot. Thanks.

Worked that time. Thanks! The PO of my car gave me a CD copy of the PET (what on earth does that stand for? I imaging the "P" stands for either "Porsche" or "Parts", but what about the "E" and the "T"?) on CD ROM, but it never worked. I think I'm going to run right out and order part 928 801 019 02 (set of surfboard supports).

Yeah, those crazy Germans (and I mean that in only the nicest sense of the word) like to string about five words into a single one at times...

I
love having the PET PDF! Use it all the time when I order parts from Sunset. Bugs the hell out of me that BMW guards their parts catalogs like they're pirate treasure or something...

I love using this web site. I look up the diagrams in the comfort of my office, instead a trying to get a look at the parts counter, when the screen does not turn all the way so I can see it clearly. I then make a print out and take it to my car and there comparing the diagram to the car and knowing, the part I need is the one in the picture. I then call Sunset and order what I want with confidence that I am getting the correct part.
I just did exactly that and had to order 4 parts. Did it all on the phone, instead of driving to Sunset and having to go back a 2nd time. So I and found out that 2 of the 4 have to be ordered and put a hold on the other two.
Enjoy the site all

RIGHT CLICKING ON THE LINK DOES NOT CREATE A CD/DVD OF THE SITE. IT ONLY COPIES THE LINK SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO TYPE IT EACH TIME.
I had asked if any of your computer guru's knew how to copy the entire web site of the diagrams and charts to a CD or DVD. so I would not have to access the link each time, and download the information each time, but rather just put my CD or DVD into my computer and have instant access to the information.

The file is PDF format, readable in Adobe Acrobat Reader, FoxIt Reader, or many other PDF reader programs. If you have Google Chrome, left-clicking on the link in post #15 of this thread opens the PDF right in the browser, then you can right-click anywhere on the document and select "Save As..." to save the PDF file to your local computer. Likewise, Google Chrome will allow you to right-click on the link and select "Save link as..." and again you can save the PDF file to your computer. If you have Internet Explorer, right-click that link and select "Save target as", then make sure you remove the %20 from the end of the file and replace the _PDF with .PDF at the end of the name.

lol - no saddle or horns (I'm not a native Texan). Oddly enough, this medium-sized town "Deep in the heart of Texas" is fast turning into a racing Mecca, with two tracks in the area already, and the F1 track construction just getting started. Maybe they'll race cattle there...
