Hi
Does anyone know how to remove the front wing?
Mine has corrosion, crap British weather and salty roads, was thinking of getting it repaired, but a new wing is tempting, even at Porsche prices.
Thanks
Ordy

for reference, he is referring to the fender. they call them wings on that side of the pond.
removal is not difficult. however, there is a glue bead up inside at the rear mounting that can be a real pain to remove.
basically though, once you remove the bumper cover and fender liner, there are only the bolts you see at the top, a couple underneath at the rear, and the 4 on the inside.
it's a bit tougher on the side with the washer reservoir, as you have to move that out of the way to get to one of the bolts inside at the top.
i should have taken pictures the last time in had one off, and then written a DIY. my bad.

Thanks, yeah it's a fender for you guys, it's the right one so I will have to remove the washer bottle, may be a bit more difficult as the lower bolts will be rusty.
What does the glue bead do, does it help attach the wing, and will I have to replace it with a new wing?
If so what did you use?
Thanks

it is a seal more than anything else, to prevent road gunk from entering the cabin. it's just a silicone caulking bead. i don't drive my car in weather, so i did nothing. if i were to drive it in weather, i would use a good outdoor caulking.
