Greetings from Spain - aristharcus - 12-18-2013

Hi all. I live in the city of Oviedo, in the North of Spain. I bought my 968 back in May/2011. It’s a Coupe from 1992 (Red Guards). Needless to say, I’m in love with my car.



I bought it with 63,000 km in the clock (about 39,000 miles) and now it has 79,000 km. This year I’ve changed the timing belt and all the associated amenities.



Last, but no least in this introduction, when people thinks about Spain usually thinks about sun. Not here. Here it usually rains a lot and the landscape is always green. In fact it’s very similar to Scotland, but we have a very well kept secret: we have the most curvy roads in the country!

It would be an excellent idea! I'm a member of the official Porsche Club Asturias (Asturias is the name of the region where I live) and we always organize driving activities. Who knows, maybe something for this next summer …

Thanks for your welcome, Rap. I have no experience driving the 968 while snowing, but in the rain it is incredible. You can go faster with the 968 than a 964c4 and more or less at the same pace as a 996MkII (320cv and electronic stability system). Our car is indeed fantastic <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.png" class="smilie" alt="" />
