There is an ongoing issue going on behind the scenes regarding the sc. I do not take a position on it one way or another. Although I own an sc, currently not on the car, the issue has nothing to do with me. However we seem to be experiencing some disagreements that are not being handled as well as they might.
We joined this Forum as a result of a common interest. The 968. There are many intelligent and opinionated folks here. At times we seem to have this eruption of disagreement that I suspect might be characterized as a lack of communication.
I am often a jerk and say things which might be offensive to others. Flash readily admits to being offensive at times. He and I often disagree about things. So what. We are still friends afterward regardless of his inability to see and understand my opinion.
The purpose here, for me anyway, is to learn and connect with other likeminded 968 owners. Some of us have met, drank and eaten together. There are other Forums which often devolve into nastiness which I suspect push readers away. I have been pushed away at some of these sites by just this activity.
I wish to remind you of our purpose here. This is supposed to be fun and a place to get needed info. Since I sometimes lose sight of the proper way to act, and being hopefully an intelligent adult, I'm going to work on my behavior. Hopefully everyone will read and understand this posting in the spirit that it was intended.
Do you hear me Bob?

Well said.
That aside, the SC group should be able to have separate access to Bob re certain aspects of the kits' performance, issues, parts replacement, etc. The D1R set up is highly customized with a great deal of proprietary information. Consequently, flash or any of us for that matter do not, and should not have to disclose ( to the population at large ..) any information which may compromise the rights associated with the kit. However, for those of us who invested a significant sum of money in the SC deserve " special treatment " , lol, in that respect. So in case Bob gets run over by a bus tomorrow and the following day a hose, or a pulley, or any other component of the SC fails or gets damaged on my cars , I for one, need to know where to get a replacement part . Just sayin' .. :-)

i have always encouraged an open and free discussion about the kit (or any of my stuff for that matter). how can i improve on things without feedback? remember that i also have one of everything, and if i needed to improve something, i would. i would then pass that along to everyone else. that's exactly the purpose of the tech bulletins i have issued, and why i am continually revising the instructions for things. as i discover something that can be made better or done differently, i put it out there.
i'll put up a list of part numbers and some sources of the parts that people can get for themselves. there aren't that many though. off the top of my head, i can only think of the belt, the pulleys, the head unit, fluid, and the filter. everything else is something i have made.
