K&N does not show a kit for the 968. Has anyone installed one on their car? How big a job? Those of you that run the K&N filter, how much difference is the sound?

K&N does have a panel for the 968. If you are looking for a system, about the only aftermarket system I have seen is this one from http://www.9xauto.com/944.html

The main problem I see with this is you have to remove the bumper cover to install, inspect and service the filter. And they also want $389 for for a few pieces of pipe! That and there is no data on how it performs. Is it more or less restrictive than stock or other options? They offer no science for your money.

I think I'll wait to see how Bob's comes out in his test. He may want to give me one just to verify it works as well in the East as it does on the West coast. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
