968 sighting today in Austin, TX - Cloud9...68 - 09-03-2005
I saw a beautiful black coupe heading East on Anderson Lane today at about 3:15. I was in my 968, and tried honking, but the driver didn't see or hear me. Does the car belong to someone on this board? Tom in Austin, perhaps...?

Wasn't me, but, I am a new owner in Austin. I have an Amazon Green coupe......daily driver with edgey paint

I'll be at Porschedillo as well, and am planning to go this month's group lunch on Thursday at the Outback Steakhouse on Huntland Drive. Hope to see as many Austin/San Antonio 968ers as possible at one or both of these events. Mike, I wish I could have made it to the tour a few weekends ago, but I was in the middle of a headlight receptacle change-out, so the car was temporarily undriveable <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/sad.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> .

That was several years before I got mine, But I bought a Black 968 coupe in Austin last year (2007). I wonder if thats the one you saw. Btw, Ive seen a purple coupe, a blue coupe, and a white cab in austin this past year (2008).
