As stated, I am looking for a stock 968 radio/cd player for my 968 Cab.

Hi Lee,
I installed a Porsche CDR-210 that I found on EBAY. Great look, perfect fit. Only mod required is to pull DC from the lamp on the clock in the cubby to light the radio for night time.
Make sure that you get the connectors and mounting frame when you get the radio. Installation is about an hour or $75-100 at a car electronics store. The one that I wnet to had the connectors for $5-10.

Why do you need a special mounting frame for the CDR-210? I've ordered one from a shop in NC and the fellow there assures me that it will slip right into my stock 968 radio frame. Adapter cables cost me an additional $25. Thanks for the radio nite light tip.
