I noticed that the VIN shown on my windshield is not the same VIN as the vechicle. If anyone has CarFAX access, I'd like to know the history of the vehicle the windshield came out of. The VIN is WP0AA296XPS820377. Thanks!

I don't have carfax, but isn't the VIN plate sandwiched between the A-pillar and the windshield? I don't think the VIN is actually on the windshield itself.
BTW, I assume we're talking more than the "WP0AA2..." vs WP0ZZZ..." difference.

Yeah, I've always seen the VIN plate sandwiched between the A-pillar and the windshield, as you mentioned. However, right next to it etched into the windshield is the second VIN that I listed above, entirely different.
