I am rapidly reaching the point where I am going to have to have the the rear hatch glass rebonded to the the frame. Has anyone had this work done in the SF Bay Area. This is not a job that I wish to take on myself. Hopefully, if I have an auto glass shop do it there is less potential for the glass to be broken than if I attempt to do it. And, I have someone else to blame and presumably recover at least part of the cost of a new hatch glass if it gets broken in the process.

Can't help you, but if you hear of a place, please post here to let the rest of us know.

Any update on this, Chris? I'd be most interested in finding a good shop for that myself.

No update yet, my wife just lost her job, so I'm going to have to sit on my cash reserve until she finds a new one. So unless something breaks, I'll probably do it later this year and I will post the results. I have most of my mechanical work done at an independent shop in Oakland, Bauer Porsche Repair. According to Bauer, there is an auto glass place, in Oakland, that has successfully done this work on 944's and 968's, so that will be one source that I'll check out. If your need is more immediate than mine, I'm happy to ask Bauer for the referral. Just let me know.
