Hello, well the car is coming along fine now just a few bits to do, just had it detailed so i thought i would post the results for you guys across the pond, let me know what you think, just got to add the red clubsport graphics and the side panels, regards pazzer.

Many thanks Pete, yes i am very impressed what the detailers have done, considering the history of the car, its not perfection but for a 14 year old motor thats had paint on every panel or near enough, its looking pretty good, just got ot sort out the side sills and clubsport graphics, its all in handthough and should be finished and ready for the road in two weeks time. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/rolleyes.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Thanks for the complements guys, i'm pleased wih the results, just wondering if it would look better with my red carrera wheels, to contrast with the clubsport script, i will post some pics of both to see the response regards chris.

The full black looks bad@$$. I'd like to see it with the red too though. Either way will look great.
Without seeing the red my preference would be for the all black.

Well its now finished and i drove it for the first time on weds, what a difference from what i can remember from 2 years ago the last time i drove it, the rs barn chip and headers give it a lot more midrange punch, and as for the exhaust note higher up the rev range i am begining to like it, bit dubious at first but its growing on me rapidly, car handles sweet aswell with all the suspension mods i have done, and i am surprised at how well mannered it is regarding all the rubber has been replaced with solid bushes. Whilst at the shop getting alligned i had it weighed, 1296kg <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/ohmy.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/ohmy.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> with just over half a tank of fuel, not bad for a clubsport. all i can say is a big thankyou to Pete at rs barn for supplying all my parts, Flash for producing those braces, and everyone on here for any advice given over the last year or so <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> yippee its great to be driving my baby again, also made the mistake of adding all my invoices up since owning the car, £37,000 <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/ohmy.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/ohmy.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/ohmy.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> DONT TELL THE WIFE. including buying it at £6,500. Great work. You committed the ultimate 968 ownership sin - you should NEVER add up the invoices. I stopped when the invoices were more than the $20k I'd spent to purchase the car. My wife calls my 968 the $6 million car - and I'll never tell her how close she is to being right.

Cheers Joel, my missus thinks so aswell, but i prefer the black, maybe because they have SO2s on and the reds have toyo 888's, these will be my track day tyres, and i dont fancy wearing them out on the highway,not at 700.00 a set anyway, but i'm pleased it appeals to you, many thanks, pazzer.
