<img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/sad.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> Okay, it's in the high eighties, about 98% humidity, rain forecast all week and as you can see by the pic, my A/C compressor is shot <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/sad.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> And to top it off this coming Saturday I'm supposed to lead a tour group for Boxstoberfest... <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/unsure.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
Soooooo, anyone out there have a A/C compressor they want to sell/donate to the save me from the heat and humidity campaign?
If so, please PM me and we'll go from there... and hopefully I'd like to replace this BEFORE Saturday! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

I don't have a spare compressor, but my PO got the one currently in my car from a company called Hancock Industries, in Abilene, so with any luck, you may be able to get one by Saturday. Although, come to think of it, I think you have to send yours in for a core. Anyway, their number is (325) 692-9290. Their prices are very reasonable. Good luck!

I know they're readily available if you have the bucks - I ordered one today along with a new receiver/dryer and the o-rings I'll need. Between having to flush the system and all the new freon/compressor oil I'm looking at just about $600 and some change, and that's with me doing all the work.
