Reporting a bad vendor - quick968 - 09-02-2008

This is NOT one of our great 968 Forum sponsors. Not sure if this belongs on the sponsor forum or somewhere else, moderator can decide. Just wanted folks to know about a lousy experience I had dealing with Adam at PorscheShop UK. I ordered approx $123 of various 968 goodies from them online, paid via PayPal. Never received items here in the US. Several emails determined they were sent to an incorrect address and had been supposedly returned to the UK. Cleared up the address snafu. Supposedly resent, but still never received. Several more emails telling me they would try and track things down, that was the last I heard from them. PayPal only allows refunds prior to 30 days so they're no help as usual. Finally, I sent a direct email to Adam at Porsche shop UK requesting a refund and it was ignored. Now $123.00 may not seem like much, but it is to some of us, not to mention the principle of the thing. Maybe the UK folks have better experiences with them, but in contrast to the high water mark in customer service set by Jason at Paragon Products, the PorscheShop UK sucks ass. I will never order from again, and would never recommend them to any other Porsche folks.

thanks for the tip about this place. I always worry when I order stuff online and have to pay before receiving any thing. Hopefully they will track down were your order ended up.

When you use paypal, fund it with a credit card. If paypal doesn't step up, your CC will. Good luck and thanks for the headsup on Porscheshop UK.
