J C, I'm confused. You have a Fla. license plate but your state is Ala. Around here you have to change plates if you become a resident. Just curious.

Now I understand. A lot of that in the DC area also. Just as a thought 968 in Italian would be noveseiotto or novesessantotto.
Now that would be a BIG license plate.

cosimo, to be consistent with the entire number, shouldn't it be novecentosessant'otto ? even a longer LP, but that might fit on a customized european style front plate so worth considering

Here are the plates on two of our cars ( we have four vehicles so believe me, if there were any other roman numerals combinations avialble in CA, and they'd fit on a plate, I would have monopolized the whole damn series by adding two more.. )

DYSLEXIA or "dreaming" in the WRONG direction?

"Vanity" license plates - Langley968 - 04-13-2010

OK - either no one saw my last post OR those that did are so dissapointed they deemed it unworthy of a reply!
I was expecting a barage of replies because of the "inverted" order of the 968 numbering. I had a choice from about ten plates that my agent had on hand, so... I went with one that was "related".
Rest assured, I am NOT dreaming of a Boxter.

"Vanity" license plates - 94SilverCab - 04-13-2010

"Vanity" license plates - Fox944 - 04-13-2010

A better picture of my car & vanity pate.

"Vanity" license plates - 968 GUY - 04-14-2010

No vanity plates here. Just a gift fom the very observant and kind young lady at the tag office. She did this on her own. I was wondering what all the rattling around was and why it was taking so long to get the plates. Imagine my surprise! I didn't have the heart to ask for 951 instead of 944.

"Vanity" license plates - Kim - 04-14-2010

and I also not a boxster

"Vanity" license plates - Fox944 - 04-14-2010

Some people amaze me and make me realize that there are still awesome people in this world.

"Vanity" license plates - Langley968 - 04-14-2010

968GUY - please help me out here. I am confused!
Your profile states: Bainbridge, GA, yet the plates are WA plates! It caught my eye quickly because I am next door to WA and my car was bought in Seattle and had WA plates on it when I brought it "up" across "the line". I first though: Good - someone else in WA that has a 968 who I need to meet - but... maybe not...
Looking for an answer...
