The analog guages are sweep type and digitall give you numbers. Numbers are better!

Cloud,

Second oil cooler is on the LHS on the nose opening. You can just make out the black fins.

I had to get the car out into the sunlight to be able to even get the cooler to be visible in a photo.

By the way - yes it is a fibreglass splitter and yes it is broken and held together with racetape (one off and it is gone). The mechanic over here has a 968RS splitter that I can hopefully haggle out of him to replace it.

Hi Craig,

Good idea using the driver side oil cooler. The Tips have that set up for the transmission oil so the parts are available.

The hose size for Tip cooler is way too small but cooler there is the way to go.

it's certainly one option - we talked about it over 2 years ago, but the issue i have with it is how the connection is made, and the line drag going from one cooler to the next, as well as the connections themselves. highly problematic, given the unorthodox methods chosen by porsche

that's exactly why i have chosen to go the route of matching the OEM hose designs. not easy or inexpensive, but very effective and simple to install

i expect to have a prototype in the next few weeks. thermodynamic results will follow.

Temp testing needs to done on the track. 968's heat sink after 20 minutes and then temp spikes. You can't tell how much temps can be reduced until you reach the thermal load.
