I believe I'd be in for batch 3! Although i have the rsbarn headers... What exactly is the issue with using the header and the supercharger? I've done some searching but couldn't find an outright answer to that... Thanks flash!

it completely screws up the mixture. the car will not run right with the header installed, and i won't sell it to anybody running the header because i don't want to hear anything on the internet about it later, regardless of how much they want to absolve me of responsibility. i want my perfect record intact. i went through a LOT of fiddling to try to get it right, but there is some immutable code that prevents it from working right. trust me, i had one, and REALLY wanted it to work. no dice. the other car that has attempted it also does not run right. a number of things have been done to try to get it, but it still isn't right and eventually it will ring wash and be a mess. you would really have to go stand-alone to run the header, and you would have to use bigger injectors too.



cat-back is no problem.



i am also still trying to get the early ECU working with the tuning. i thought i had it, but it turned out not to work.



there is a chance i will put together a "hardware only" kit, which will then allow a customer to buy their own supercharger, and do their own tuning. that way, i am out of the loop, and have no responsibility for how it runs. it will cost the customer more, but it opens up the door for more power.

lol - yeah - that's exactly why i did it myself. i had all of that stuff, and looked at the options. based on how i drive the car, this one made the most sense. so far, everybody else who has one feels the same way.

scheduling permitting, yes. as long as somebody is willing to get in there and get dirty, i am happy to make my garage available and help direct and guide the installation. the only complication is that the car needs to be cold when we start, as the first thing is radiator removal. in the past, that has meant the car arriving the night before and sitting overnight. but, ring me up and we'll see what we can do.



as for round 3, i am getting really close to an announcement. i am working on a couple of related things that should make some people very happy.

I think it is about time that one off these kits is going to find it's way to the Netherlands .



I have to check one thing first and that is the ecu , i have a 1992 car .

otherwise i have to find an other ecu first with the right numbers . could you send me the numbers ?



and am i still in time to be on the list ?

there are already a couple of kits over there.



the ECU number is in the pdf file about the kit, and can be found on the first post on the first page in the thread in the HEAVY BREATHING announcing it. i am still working on getting the early ECU to work. so far though, only the later ECU works. they do swap back and forth though from one year to the next.



still in time to get on the list.

I have the install pdf i will look for the ecu numbers tomorrow , when i install my new fan-switch and will let you know .

yup - 2 (i think i had one with "the netherlands" and one with "holland"). i know that 1 has been installed and has been running for a while now. not sure about the status of the other one.
