I've had mine for quite some time - FLWBYU which translates into "FLeW BY yoU"
I am not sure this is appropriate for a 968 with a 4cyl but works for me.

I think I saw a 968 for sale on Craigslist here in the Bay with 9SIXTY8. Or something like that. Made me think of this thread.

I went for "Nine 68", since "968" was not available in NY.

I hate to drag this older thread up again but I just got my new license plate for my '07 Mustang GT convertible. I tried to post a photo but couldn't.
Anyway, in NC we have NASCAR-related affinity plates available and, being a fan, I got the Jeff Gordon version. It has the number 24 in Dupont Racing colors and the initials, "JG". My plate number is PONY.

there should be no problem posting a photo, as long as you size it correctly, and it is in the right format - tools are in the "101" section - did you do that?
i've been trying to figure out what to do for the M3, but i don't want anything obvious, pedestrian, or showing an utter lack of imagination (like anything that says BMW or M3) and yet something that every reader will understand

4NICK8 - that should raise a few eyebrows.. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/blink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
( well, only if your name was Nick and this was your 8th car, the DMV might just let you get away with that one )
DSLXWMB - dyslexsic BMW ? <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/tongue.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
BMMEUP - beam me up or BMERUP ( since Ayn drives it most of the time ) - but you guys would have to be both beemer and star trek fans <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/unsure.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

For our tow vehicle, my son got BG BLCK (it's a black crew cab F350 turbodiesel dually). Other variations were already taken. For his Maserati, he got something that only folks that know him will understand - LINGOEB - which is a composite of the names of the two English bulldogs, Lily and Ringo, plus the name of the French bulldog, Ebi (which is further short for EBITDA, which was a focal point of his life when he purchased the French bulldog - he was in the midst of negotiations to sell his company). New Jersey doesn't issue personalized plates for trailers, so we're stuck with the random one issued by the MVC.

To me "FLASH" is an obvious choice. How about GRMRKT? or QUIKM3? SEEYA?

Which M3 version, Flash? Actually, assuming it's anything relatively new, you could always just use lots of dollar signs.

Good thing I've been to Italy. It took me a moment to get ARVDRCI <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

love to form a line ? love to stay in line ? <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/rolleyes.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> ok, ok, I'm reading that phonetically, "queue" may not fit on the license plate , so what the heck else does we love to que mean ?

That what I was hoping but it also sounds like "we love to kill you" too. The car was a Hyundai. So maybe the person is an exterminator company owner. Believe me though, I didn't follow too close to the car. Gave the guy a lot of space.

my bad - it is spelled "queue"
it's a cultural thing - they have been doing it for years - they stand in line for just about everything
