I was wondering what Flash meant by his comment on another thread about how (and I'm paraphrasing from memory) how "325 hp is achievable", when I thought I heard him previously state that about 285 hp was the upper limit. Now we know... Looks like a fabulous piece of work, as always.

Good job Flash & Pete! Maybe "ol blue" will not have to lug around a V-8 after all. Looking forward to more information and possibly a test drive in a 968 with the kit installed. I don't mind traveling for the test drive. Good luck, Bob Blackwell.

I too thought about the kidney option..... although I am now seriously considering a clear out of my audio gear from my previous 'life', along with the 'baby' Porsche that lives under a warm blanket in the garage....
So opening offers for a 'mint' 924S, or a Revolt B77 MkII 2 track?? lol, seriously... great work, and well done to all concerned, so that's about two and and a half thousand quid, this side of the pond I need to find... hummm

thanks for all the words of encouragement - we worked hard on making sure we thought we had our finger on the pulse of what most people wanted before committing to the project - it took a long time to figure out what we thought would make it work without compromising the things about the 968 that make it a 968
it seems that i'm down with a flu right now, though it seems to be on its way out (i haven't been sick in over 20 years, so i guess i'm due) - as soon as i'm up again, i'll be onto making the brackets and fitting everything in the car

doing that for sure - not well yet, but feeling better
been working on the design on and off a bit today - mostly gathering back together all the stuff i had already done on this 5 years ago and put down due to lack of interest, and then again when i picked back up and again dropped the project over a year ago because i thought the intake manifold was going to be the prohibitive problem - as it turns out, it is still a very real limitation, but not nearly as big of a problem as i thought - so, now i get to pick this back up where i left off, and finally finish the project - there are really no parts in common with any other kit (perhaps a couple of off the shelf items), so this is quite a list of stuff i have to draw up and have made, fit, double check, and then ship off to rs barn
lol - then pete gets to dive in and tune it, but he is "the guy" on that, and based on how much better he has been able to tune chips for this car than anybody else has been, we have no worries
i'm really looking forward to this - i always knew this could be done, and in fact was the one carrying that banner for a very long time, in spite of the opinions of some who thought it was a waste of time, or there was a better way - i almost gave up entirely on this, and in fact i was still on the fence this go-round about doing it myself, but now that i know i can ultimately get it past CARB, i'm good to go
some things just take time to gel

the response to this has been phenomenal
we are very glad we waited to release this news - we wanted to be very sure it would work, as this particular approach will be entirely unique, or at least have nothing more in common with any other attempts at this than the idea of a centrifugal supercharger on a 968 - we are using a different head unit, different drive design, different mounting, a very different intake, and the all-important inclusive tuning
we are very excited about this, and it promises to be exactly what we hoped for when we first started talking about this 5 years ago
