back on topic, i'm gathering my list of stuff to order today and tomorrow. my plan is to order parts on monday and get things rolling.

ok - i got sidetracked for a while. i ended up running for the board of directors at my HOA. i won, so it meant spending some time getting things going, not the least of which was finding a new management company.
i think i have everything just about ready now. i'm setting up the space this week, as well as placing the order for stuff. i should have everything in stock in about 4 weeks.
i have already updated the D1R website with the products i'll be selling. everything will show not in stock and backordered. that doesn't matter right now. you can go ahead and order stuff anyway. it will still track your order.
if it isn't there, it's because i'm not doing it.

we'll see how the little experiment goes. i don't expect it to go on forever. my guess is that in a year or two, everything will dry up. it has already slowed down severely. were it not for the fact that the space cost is nil, it would not make sense at all. that deal could change though, and would result in closure. for now, it seems fine.

the machine parts all came in.
picking up the hardware and misc stuff this week.
now waiting on the sheet metal stuff, which will then have to be taken to the powder coater. i expect that stuff to be done and ready to go there later this week.
that means i should be stocked with most everything by about may 5.
while most of the stuff will be in stock, supercharger kits will take a bit longer from order to shipping than the rest of the stuff, as a couple of the parts are made to order, one at a time.
i'll update the site with expected shipping times for each part.
but, you can go on there and order stuff now, as the site will accept orders for anything that says "add to cart" even though it shows backordered. stuff will be shipped on a first come first served basis. if we run out, you will have to wait until the next batch is done.

rap - i swear i'm going to figure out how to get a spell/grammar check installed on your computer, just to correct the possessive/contraction thing. probably about the time i get my voice recognition going so i can use caps.
