There are plenty of people looking to upgrade a stock 944 with bigger sways.. defenetley a market for them. Throw them up on eBay. I just bought a 26.8mm bar for $60. They will defnetley sell. If you have the hardware to mount the rear bar (perhaps you went with adjustable droplinks) many 944's did not come with a rear bar, so the hardware (droplinks, eccentric bolt, bushing clamps) will defenetley sell aswell.

Resurrecting this really old thread... I can't seem to find 19mm shaft collars for the m030 rear bar. Although I've found a couple of manufacturers whose websites claim that they make 19mm, distributors only seem to stock the following sizes: ..., 16mm, 17, 18, 20, 25, 30, ...etc. Anyone know where I can order these online?

Just replaced the front and rear delrin swaybar bushings, had them greased, and had shaft collars installed. It did NOTHING to quiet the creaks that have plagued my 968 off and on for the past couple of years. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/whine.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

What it did do was significantly improve steering feel. More subtle feedback comes through the steering wheel now, and it feels.... smoother. Inspection of the old bushings showed substantial (but not irregular) wear from the last 3 years of 3-season driving. Front swaybar had paint rubbed off under the bushings with shiny exposed metal.

So am I happy I did it? Yes. But I still need to track down the source of the maddening creaks.

Flash it sounds like your wheels are already turning on the inner delrin bushing situation, but how about the end link setup? (this is the front we're talking about). Is there a spherical bearing / heim joint type solution possible there? It would be nice to get rid of the rubber donuts and have a nice solid mount to the control arm. Any thoughts?
