odometer gear - anyone have one? - danderson - 07-10-2018

I know the gear is not in the speedometer. It was on the table when I lost it. I thought the odometer would have no effect on the speedometer. I saw the four contacts that stick into the back of the speedometer. They did not look to be particularly clean, but I never thought to try to clean them. Could this be a cause of the frequency multiplier issue. I have no other ideas as to the cause of this issue. Thanks for your thoughts.
