Second Arash - I have the 944 plug - IIRC it was like $10+/- through Paragon....

I saved my hollow 968 drain plugs for possibly drilling and tapping for an oil temp sender. Some 944 guys like doing this and they have to get that magnet out... but it seems the 968 plug is perfect for that.

I got my magnetic plugs for $1 each at a local junkyard <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> . And the crush ring part number is 900 123 118 30.

Or you can get it from a generic online auto parts site... like www.autohausaz.com or Paragon. They're really cheap, so just buy a bunch and change it every oil change.

An oil temp gauge? Did you use VDO or something else?
